Exam Performance
In our module, the creation of a video presentation is planned as an exam performance by each individual student. A 10-minute video (+/- 20 percent) is planned. Financial Education – Decipher the Financial World: Investing vs. Saving
Financial education is a key topic in our modern economy and the terms investing and saving are often confused. However, they represent two fundamentally different approaches to dealing with money. While saving focuses on preserving capital, investing aims to increase it. Understanding these differences is essential to making informed financial decisions. In my EU-funded project FLIP (for general information click here) there is a more in-depth lesson on investing (click here). I encourage you to explore this valuable content and apply your knowledge to the module.
From Theory to Practice
Zendepot.de is a project in which I contribute my knowledge from theory as a scientific advisor in practice. A large number of the articles there have been quality-assured by me. They offer you a good introduction to possible investment strategies. The articles are written for practice, so you ultimately have to scientifically trace them back. In addition, we only concentrate on ETFs in this project, so that other assets are hidden. However, these may be of interest to you in the module, so you should not be restricted in any way.
