About Me

In my teaching and research at FOM University, I focus on Digital Finance and on how to make academic work more efficient and effective. Currently, my research focuses on topics such as the impact of sustainability (ESG) on financial markets, the application of Artificial Intelligence in the financial and real estate sectors, and Behavioral Finance and Financial Literacy – especially in the context of social media. Additionally, I also support curriculum development and contribute to quality management.

As a coach, I help executives and entrepreneurs take their careers to the next level. Whether it’s pursuing a part-time doctorate or looking for new professional challenges, I’m here to help with advice and support.

In consulting, I advise founders and medium-sized companies, especially when it comes to platform economics and new business models. I am currently working on projects such as financial advice for expats, ETFs, Smart Cities, as well as education and sustainability in the Metaverse. I also support transatlantic projects in the real estate and business sectors. Through my own Small Business, I bring not only gray theory, but also a lot of practical experience.

For this reason, I can support various projects and, in the case of very special problems, I can fall back on my network and refer you to a specialist.

In my teaching and research, I deal with the most important topics relating to financing and investment, with a focus on financial education. I also teach on the topics of digitization, self-management and scientific work.

How You Can Work with Me…

I am always available to my students as a contact person for their thesis. In the lectures, however, we also always talk about topics relevant to practice that affect private or professional life. I am happy to exchange ideas with associations, institutions and companies about possible research collaborations. In general, I enjoy exchanging ideas with people about my research topics in the fields of financing, investment, the stock market, real estate, digitization and sustainability.

My Previous Projects

In the past, I have successfully implemented various projects, held workshops and given individual coaching sessions as a coach and consultant. In my financial coaching sessions, I focus on the personal finances of private individuals, freelancers and small businesses.

The focus is on investment, trading and real estate financing. My personal coaching sessions focus on academic issues, such as striving for a part-time doctorate or the path to your first scientific publication, or on personal development. Here I focus on self- and time management as well as learning and working techniques.
